Privacy Policy

How we treat your information on this editorial website.

Last updated: October 2025.

Who we are

This website is an editorial project about Skansen — the open-air museum on Djurgården in Stockholm. It is informational and non-commercial. It is not the official website of Skansen. No personal data is collected for marketing, profiling or resale.

What we collect

When you visit this site, our hosting provider may record technical information automatically: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, requested URL, date and time. This information is used only to keep the site running and to defend against abuse.

We do not ask you for your name, email or any other personal details. We do not run contact forms, accounts, comments or newsletters. We do not run advertising. We do not sell anything on this site.

Cookies

We use only the strict minimum of cookies needed to remember your language choice and your cookie-banner preference. We do not set advertising or tracking cookies. For details see our Cookie Policy.

Analytics

If aggregated, anonymous analytics are added in the future, they will be used only to understand which pages are read. No individual visitor will be profiled or identified. You can always refuse cookies via the banner; analytics will then not be loaded.

Third parties

The site uses Google Fonts to display its typefaces. Google may receive your IP address as part of that request. No other third-party services are embedded. We do not embed social-media trackers, advertising networks or behavioural pixels.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and equivalent Swedish law, you have the right to access, rectify or erase any personal data we hold about you, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Since we do not collect personally identifiable information, in practice there is usually nothing to access — but you may contact us at any time to confirm.

Changes

This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new "last updated" date at the top of this page.
